The renowned bassist Glauco So\u0308lter will present his compositions on European stages between July-August and October-November 2025.<\/p>

With the group Glauco So\u0308lter Brazilian Trio, he is accompanied by guitarist Gabriel Moraes and drummer Matheus Jardim. Glauco\u00a0plays and records regularly with different artists in Brazil and abroad. For more than 15 years he was the musical director of the great trombonist Raul de Souza<\/strong>. The result of his authorial work are 5 CDs released, besides being part of the groups “Mano a Mano Trio”, “Duo Bandolaxo” and “Projeto Cataia” (with Arismar do Espi\u0301rito Santo<\/strong>). During the period of 35 years of his carrer he had the pleasure to work with names like Joa\u0303o Bosco, Airto Moreira, Joa\u0303o Donato, Ron Carter, Badi Assad, Richard Bona, Toninho Horta,<\/strong> among many others.
In 1999 he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. But before that, he had already played with his trio at the Montreux Jazz Festival and released a CD nationally with a brazilian instrumental group called NaTocaia. Besides his performing he also works regularly as a teacher, arranger and cultural producer. And as a writer – he has just launched the book Levadas Brasileiras, about the history of bass in Brazil.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Gabriel is a Brazilian guitarist, composer and educator who has been based in Vienna, Austria since 2015. He blends the tradition of northeastern culture with the freedom of European jazz to innovate in his music. Gabriel is an artist endorser of the world-renowned guitar brand, Ibanez Guitars and the prestigious jazz guitar strings brand Thomastik-Infeld Vienna.<\/p>

As a musician, he has collaborated with important names in jazz, Brazilian music, and the European\/Austrian scene, including Chico Ce\u0301sar, Vincent Segal, Doug Hammond, Arismar do Espi\u0301rito Santo, Aydin Esen, Phil DeGreg, Jorge Helder, Alejandro Chiabrando, Mark Rapp, Christoph Cech, Stephan <\/strong>Braun, Peter Herbert, Per Mathisen, Kiko Freitas, Pascoal Meirelles, Waldonys, Jorge de Altinho, Genival Lacerda, Eliezer Setton, Ze\u0301 Calixto<\/strong>, and others. He has performed at major clubs such as Porgy & Bess (Austria), The Dome & The Jazz Cafe (United Kingdom), and Tollhaus (Germany), as well as at festivals in England, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Italy, and other countries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Matheus Jardim<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Matheus was born in Jo\u00e3o Pessoa, Brazil. He is a drummer and percussionist who started learning the drums at the age of 10 with his father, the multi-instrumentalist Antonio de Padua<\/strong>.
Matheus began his professional career at the age of 12, playing and recording with local musicians. In 2013, he moved to Graz, Austria, to study drums at the jazz department of the Graz University of Art (KUG). Since 2015, Matheus has been living in Vienna, where he actively participates in the local music scene, playing a wide variety of music genres as a sideman and in numerous projects with different artists. He has worked with many accomplished artists such as Michael Pipoquinha<\/strong> (BR), Raul de Souza<\/strong> (BR), Joel Ross Quartet<\/strong> (US), Dhafer Youssef<\/strong> (TUN),
David Helbock “Austrian Syndicate”<\/strong>, Gerald Preinfalk<\/strong> (AT), Alegre Correa<\/strong> (BR), Emily Braden<\/strong> (US), Gabriel Grossi<\/strong> (BR), Nicola Caminiti<\/strong> (IT\/US), Fagner Wesley Quartet<\/strong> (BR), Christophe Schweizer<\/strong> (GER), Georg Vogel<\/strong> (AT), Misha Piatigorsky<\/strong> (US), and Harry Sokal “MOVE”<\/strong> (AT). Matheus has performed in many European countries and at major clubs such as Porgy&Bess (Vienna), Ronnie Scott\u2019s (London), Opus Jazz Club (Budapest), Elbphilarmonie Hamburg (Germany), Hot Club de Portugal (Lisbon), Cafe Central (Madrid), and B-flat Jazz Club (Berlin).
