Additionally, it will highlight influential Brazilian bassists and key recordings.<\/p><p>The class will begin with a brief introduction to the book &#8220;Levadas Brasileiras,&#8221; followed by listening sessions where students will analyze<br \/>bass grooves, ask questions about techniques, and play along withoriginal recordings.<\/p><p>This workshop is open to all instruments and allows students to play avariety of Brazilian rhythms, including Bossa Nova, Samba, Baia\u0303o, andmore. Under the guidance of the instructor, students will perform pieces from Brazilian music, such as &#8220;Corcovado&#8221; (Tom Jobim), &#8220;Sina&#8221; (Djavan), &#8220;Incompatibilidade de Ge\u0302nios&#8221; (Joa\u0303o Bosco), &#8220;O Ovo&#8221; (Hermeto Pascoal), and &#8220;Mr. Funk Samba&#8221; (Banda Black Rio).
